PFA - Parents & Friends Association
Involves a group of parents who coordinate and organise social events and fundraising activities for the school. They aim to foster a strong sense of community within the school. The fundraising they do allows the school to purchase equipment and improve facilities that are not able to be purchased within the school’s budget. The PFA advertise their activities in advance in the Newsletter and some of these include: a welcome to BUPS Morning Tea for Prep parents on the first day of school, a welcome BBQ for Prep parents and new families, a school Disco, Mother’s and Father’s Day activities, Hot Food days, Easter and Christmas raffles, Icy Pole Days (Terms 1 and 4), Bunnings Sausage sizzles and many more.
