ANZAC Ceremony
In the lead-up to the day, our Student Representative Committee (SRC) sell ANZAC badges throughout the school to raise funds for the Upper Beaconsfield RSL, showing our strong community connection and support. At the end of Term 1, the entire school gathers beneath the pine tree, seated in front of the flag poles, to participate in our annual ANZAC Day ceremony.
This event is led by our SRC, who take great pride in their leadership roles, sharing historical insights and reflections about the significance of ANZAC Day and why we honour those who served. Our commitment extends beyond the school grounds, with many students and staff attending the local ANZAC Day service at the Upper Beaconsfield cenotaph, where they proudly wear their uniforms and lay a wreath on behalf of BUPS.
This enduring tradition reflects the strong values of respect, remembrance, and community that are at the heart of our school.
